From there, the clay model is dipped in brass, producing a hard mold of the shape.

The labor-intensive process continues as it switches hands to extremely talented painters who follow the design and colors carefully, making sure each stroke is seamless, ensuring the correct shading is done to make the mold look realistic and three dimensional. Precision is key with painting as it lays the groundwork for how each individual crystal is applied on top of the paint.

After the bag is painted, it is passed over to expert beading artisans, who add a light layer of glue over the painted piece and start applying each crystal of the highest quality, one at a time until the entire bag is covered. This process can take over 80 hours of work and involves hundreds of crystals in varying sizes. Through this technique, each color on the bag is brought to life in a shining display. When the last crystal is placed and the bag dries, and the leather lining is stitched, a stunning representation of the original concept is the beautiful result with the utmost quality and attention to detail.
